Has INRatio been cleared by the FDA for patient self-testing?
INRatio received FDA clearance in 2002 as a prescription device for use by physicians and by patients under the supervision of a physician.

INSURANCE
Will my Medicare plan cover the cost of an INRatio kit?
Currently, we are only aware of Medicare covering the costs for a PT/INR monitor and supplies if the patient has received a mechanical heart valve replacement. For more information, please contact your local Medicare office or call us at 1-877-SELF-TEST (735-3837).

Will my private insurance plan cover the cost of an INRatio kit?
BloodRights offers assistance with insurance claims. If you have questions regarding insurance billing for INRatio, please call us at 1-877-SELF-TEST (735-3837).

What is BloodRights’ return policy for the INRatio kit?
Because INRatio is a prescriptive device, no refunds are available after you receive the INRatio kit.

How much do additional test strips cost?
Please call BloodRights at 1-877-SELF-TEST (735-3837) for a quote on test strips.

Do INRatio test strips require refrigeration or special handling?
The INRatio is great for people who are on the go because the test strips for INRatio DO NOT require refrigeration! INRatio test strips can be stored at room temperature until they expire. Strips are individually wrapped in foil pouches and should be used within 10 minutes of opening the pouch.

SHIPPING
After I place my direct-payment order, how long will it take to receive my INRatio kit?
Within seven business days of BloodRights’ receipt of your completed order form and payment, you will receive your INRatio kit via FedEx or other carrier. Submitting a completed order form with fully completed physician’s section and payment will help ensure you receive your kit promptly. Please contact a BloodRights customer service specialist at 1-877-SELF-TEST (735-3837) with any special concerns about shipping dates and transit time. We will do everything possible to make sure you receive your INRatio kit expeditiously.
Can my INRatio kit be shipped to an address outside the United States?
By law, BloodRights is unable to ship an INRatio kit to addresses outside of the United States. We are able ship to Puerto Rico, as it is a U.S. territory.

INRatio has a limited one-year warranty issued by the manufacturer, HemoSense, Inc. The warranty guarantees to the original purchaser that the monitor is free from material defects for one year from the date of purchase. Please consult the user’s guide that comes with your INRatio kit for the complete conditions of the warranty, or call BloodRights at 1-877-SELF-TEST (735-3837) for more details.
