What We Do
- BloodRights trains patients and caregivers to use at-home diagnostic monitors
for PT/INR self-testing.
- BloodRights verifies certain performance specifications for monitors used in home testing.
- BloodRights educates individuals about the relevance, necessity, performance specifications
and other aspects of clinical laboratory tests.
- BloodRights teaches consumers how to test at home with testing systems purchased
over-the-counter.
About BloodRights, LLC
C. Anne Pontius, MBA, CMPE, MT(ASCP), is the founder of BloodRights, LLC, a business dedicated to educating consumers about clinical laboratory testing, direct access tests and personal rights to order tests. She is also president of Laboratory Compliance Consultants, Inc. (LCC), a firm that specializes in laboratory operations, regulations and financial feasibility. Ms. Pontius currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA). Previously she participated for six years on CLMA’s Health Care Policy Committee. Recognized nationally as a speaker and author on physician office laboratory regulatory and operational aspects, and current laboratory industry topics, such as Direct Access Testing, Ms. Pontius has presented more than 100 workshops, breakout sessions, seminars and general sessions, and has written hundreds of articles. She is frequently interviewed for articles and market analyses. Ms. Pontius serves on the editorial advisory boards for Medical Laboratory Observer (MLO) and the Laboratory Compliance Insider.
